My Hometown
I currently live in western Kentucky in a quiet rural area near Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes. I enjoy living in a smaller community because it is peaceful and less crowded than larger cities. The area has a lot of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and boating, which makes it a great place to live. Even though it is a smaller area, it is still close enough to larger towns for work, school, and entertainment.
Education and Career Goals
I am currently attending the University of the Cumberlands and pursuing a degree in Information Technology Sciences with a focus on cybersecurity. I also work full time in law enforcement while completing my education online. After graduation, I plan to transition into a career involving cybersecurity or digital forensics. I am especially interested in learning more about investigations involving technology and digital evidence.
My Relationship With the Internet
The internet plays a major role in my daily life. I use it for schoolwork, research, communication, entertainment, and learning new technical skills. Much of my coursework is completed online, and I also use the internet to study cybersecurity topics and stay updated on technology. In addition, I use it for streaming videos, gaming, and staying connected with friends and family. I probably spend several hours online each day between work, school, and personal activities.
